The Story

Plymouth stripped a Belvedere back to the bone, fitted a 383 with 440 heads and camshaft, paid Warner Bros for the Road Runner name and charged three thousand dollars. The result outsold everything the competition could field. This car keeps the honest formula intact: rubber floor mats, bench seat, a horn that goes meep-meep, and a big-block that pulls from idle to the far side of legal. Restored in Vitamin C Orange with correct dog-dish hubcaps.

Highlights

  • Original meep-meep horn
  • 383 with 440 heads and cam
  • Dog-dish caps and steel wheels
  • Bench seat and rubber mats, as intended
